Nike Bauer I.D

Will this program continue under Bauer? I know the I.D. program is a Nike thing with shoes/apparel etc.

It wasn't a messy divorce. There are a few Nike technologies that still will be used in product.

I never assumed it was a messy divorce. I was just thinking because a few of the LHS's including Westwood have gotten rid of their I.D. stations and had sold off the shafts and blades that came with these customization set ups. Perhaps they're just getting the new Bauer setup..that is why I asked, just to make sure, also I've got some P14 wood blades coming my way in May. I was just hoping maybe that I'd get the P14 on a OPS if I needed to do so. I seem to shoot well with that pattern along with the Sakic/Naslund curves.

Even though the Nike ID retail displays are being removed, the ID program is scheduled to continue through Bauer.com.

I talked to my rep. That is not part of the plan. Just on bauer.com going forward for OPS customization.

Has bauer considered adding the 4 rolls and vapor xxxx and one95 glove to their customizer ala warrior? Id be willing to bet that people rather have the options of the 3 different fits customized then warriors 2 options that arent all that much different. for some people, like my self it doesnt matter because I use a 4 roll type glove, but if you prefer a snug fit of the one95 or the xxxx your out of luck with the warrior customizer. I say add $50-$75 on top of the retail price for the glove, allow custom color combos, embroidery options, shell options, palm options, the whole 9 yards. I say add gloves to the customizer and you could have a deadly combo.

Remember, Warrior acquired MIA who's infrastructure allowed for the large scale manufacturing of one-off gloves. Who knows if Bauer has the capabilities to do such production while keeping the costs reasonable.

Eagle and Warrior custom gloves are made in Canada. Bauer 4 roll gloves are imports. That is another reason the Bauer 4 rolls retail for a lot less than made in Canada Eagle or Warrior gloves. One offs for Bauer 4 rolls imported would be way too expensive.
