Bauer curve closest to Draper (warrior) or Nash

Recommended Posts

Considering making a change to the nike bauer one95 stick. I was just wondering what NB curve was the closest to the draper curve (Mid curve type, depth Slight 1/2, Open could be slightly open ,Medium length, 5.5 lie Round toe). The nash curve from Tps is Mid, Moderate, 1/2 Open, Medium, 5.5 lie, Round toe. Both are very close but i am looking for a NB curve. Thanks

I think 99% of people would disagree with the statement that Nash is closer to Federov/Modano/PM9 than Draper/Sakic/Naslund. It's pretty widely accepted that Nash is the closest curve (made by TPS) to Draper/Sakic/Naslund.

It IS slightly different, but for all intents and purposes it's the same (i.e. difference is pretty negligible). I don't think very many people at all would notice the difference.

All my curves are a Sakic/Naslund or a Draper (with exception of Afinogenov XN10s) and the one TPS Nash I have is similar, but not close enough to be considered "same" or extremely close. To me, the Draper is a bit different than the Sakic, but usable.

There are a few different Nash curves at this point. Most of them were virtually identical to the Sakic.

TPS Nash changed in 2008 I believe to more of a mid-heel curve.

Yeah I understand that and the TPS Nash curve I have resembles more of a Fedorov in curve than the other two or three mentioned. I could line up 5-6 different sticks with the Naslund and Sakic curve and they'd look alike from a frontal view, but side view, it seems as if there is more blade at the toe on the Sakic than the Naslund which is a teeny bit slimmer.

I have used so far a Tps xn-10 nash and a couple intrigues. Currently have Affinenov pro stock R6 and a Dolomite Spyne Draper. I like both but i want a really good back up stick for my Dolomite Spyne, so any good NB curve.

If one of those XN10 Afino's are RH and whip you should sell one to another local MSHer who is in dire search of them :D :D :D

I have two, but they're spoken for and definitely not Whip flexes hahah I cannot use a TPS whip flex. I do fine with the 85 flex TPS Afinogenov and 100 flex Sakic, but anything less is too whippy for me.

I do have a 77 flex shaft/blade One95 combo with the Naslund curve, but its great for playing wing, but I'll probably get something stiffer next time I get a Bauer shaft.

On the pattern Db the naslund is listed as a lie 6. Is this the actual lie on the easton scale making it slightly different from Sakic clones or is it measured from bauer's lie system.
