Ive used mine for 2 games so far. Its pretty good. decent balance (feels a little blade heavy) and is heavier. (Basing this all on my use of a U+ versus this). The U+ stands out as a better stick, but octogun did have some good kick and puck feel. Its gonna stay as my starting stick for a little while with the u+ as a backup until it proves me otherwise. But i have been pleased with it so far. But its only been 2 games. Ill get a couple more in with it this weekend and see how it stands then...

I tried one of my friend's octogun 50 int. It wasn't super flexiable like my Easton synergy SE but it wasn't bad, it didn't feel very well balanced.

so whats the octogun's "gimmick"? i.e s17 = eliptcal, u+cl = uberlight and a hole in the blade, etc.

Like stated above, I feel the stick to be a tad bit blade heavy, other than that I have no complaints with this stick at all, solid performance. The puck feel isn't as a good as the U+ but is better than most other sticks. I can really feel the kick on snappers with this stick, all in all I like it and it is my primary stick until I get my hands on a U+cl or find some more R8s.

haven't really heard anything good about this stick yet. I have heard a lot of complaints of it breaking near the blade where you can't even put a replacement blade in because of eight sides. I would hold off buying it, even for $100.

yo u could always shave down a replacement blade if you wanted to. To be honest i may check them out myself, HM has some great deals with them.

Tried WHICH Octogun stick? the 10,20,30,40 or 50? not to mention SMUs..... this is like asking has anyone treid the Supreme sticks, or has anyone tried the Vapour skates... <_<

I've been thinking about grabbing one just to test it out, since I've heard widely varied reviews on them. I know puck feel is all about pers pref, but I did NOT like the U+ puck feel, it felt pretty ceramic, not as bad as a dolomite but still.

I've got the Octogun 30 and it's lasting quite well. Took god knows how many slashes and the damage is on comestic. Plus flex is less than stated so it gives a good kick and shot. Tad heavier than other OPS on the market but it's not a bad stick.
