Mission Pitch Holders

Recommended Posts

I'm looking on the inet and I see the same vendors selling the same 4 sizes and only one left/right pair in 253mm.

Are these things still be made and shipped? I know someone bought Mission.

My guess would be no.

Mission ice is gone, so I doubt new ones are being made. There is a seller on ebay that seems to have a stock pile, they pop up every week or so.

Probably some leftovers at some hockey repair shops in local hockey stores. But I doubt Bauer will want them competing with the LS2 holders. Unfortunately Mission has gone the way of the dinosaurs. Too bad, they had some good quality equipment at reasonable prices.

Crap.

I have two pairs of runners for 263mm pitch holders. I got the combo-radius from noicing done and they went from being the most hated skates I had to my "pry from cold dead hands" level.

I guess I'll just get the same combo-radius done on the graf steel. ( Which is an entirely different problem since only the stock runners fit in the cobra holders. I've tried three different runners that bob sent me. I'll go back to the LHS and see if I can find some steel that fits and if not see what they can do. )

Thanks.

I think I've read that right (..it is late here), I've swapped Step steel into the Cobras on my Graf G70s.

I think there is something wrong with the runners I have. I tried three differnt step steel runners in the holders and they don't torque down and they have way too much play left to right. I put the originals back in and they tighten right down with no side to side play.

At least that's what I meant by the stock steel. The actual runners that came with the skates.
