TPS R8 Pro Lite vs Eagle X5 Pro Stock (tufftek)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I've been thinking about adding a new pair of gloves to the collection and was hoping you guys could help me out. I currently wear one90 pro stocks and a pair of TPS HGPros, and I really enjoy tighter fitting gloves and was curious which you glove you guys though would be better:

TPS R8 Pro Lite -OR- Eagle X5 Pro Stock (Tufftek)

(Both are on sale on EW hockey)

Thanks guys, any input would be great

I have the tps r8 gloves took 5 games till the palm started comming apart no more tps for me.

Really!?! I've used my R8 Pro Lites all year and the palm barely shows any wear. I love my Blacked Out TPS that I got from EW Hockey.

Totally agree Mike, my R8's have been with me for over a yr, 4-5 times a week on the ice with them and the palms are only showing tiny amts of wear now. Very sturdy item.

I have the all white TPS's on ESW. Still going strong after a year. But its a loose fitting glove, so it won't be what your looking for with the tightness.

Yeah, I mean, I like the fit of the TPS HGPro gloves I have, I just didn't like the feel of the NBH Pro Stock 4-rolls (really broken in) because there was a ton of movement from left to right in the palm area, the wrist movement doesn't bother me as much as the glove feeling like it's going to fall off my hand all the time.
