Habs fans won't let Kovy go without a fight.

A few hundred Habs fans gathered today, in front of the Bell Centre, to show their love for the "artist", Alex Kovalev. According to them, letting Kovy go is unacceptable and Bob Gainey should lose his job for this blasphemy. They spent the day venerating their God and shouting anti-Gainey slogans.

The gathering wasn't important enough to actually change anything but there is a petition circulating, close to 15 000 names strong, that could, according to them, put enough pressure on Gainey to bring back the Artist.

Good for Hab fans, Kovy is their best player and he has done so much for the team and the city. If the Habs were my team I'd be up there too. They have all the right to be mad at Gainey, especially considering his signings last week. The only decent one was Cammalleri, other than that he failed. That team needs Kovalev because he has been their star since they got him and he still has gas left in the tank.
