  1. Yeah, I'm not sure if it is goat, but they are very subtle, and the feel is very nice. I have my doubts about the durability, but hard not to be pleased with them, especially how nice they handle for a pair of solid finger gloves.
  2. Nothing special, just a pair of 06 X-treme gloves, I was expecting to get the X design but this is a very pleasant surprise. Much tighter then my 08 X70's but after an hour at the park they're starting to break in very nicely. Perfect pair of spare/pond hockey gloves. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  3. Suddenly it feels like 2007 all over again.
  4. The Leafs have one game left, and even if they win that one they would only tie the Panthers and Lightning points wise, given both teams lose in regulation, but the Panthers and Lightning would still hold the tiebreaker due to more wins. So yeah, the Leafs "clinched" 2nd worst overall, and Bruins fans can now speculate over whether they should take Taylor or Tyler, or what kind of a player the 2nd overall pick can gander on the trade market.
  5. Wait until they actually get good and I guarantee he'll wear out his welcome because of his laziness and petulant attitude. The Bruins loved the player, they just couldn't stand the person, I believe the joke was skates like LaFontaine, shoots like Hull and pouts like Yashin.
  6. Don't you realize that hockey is just like basketball? It's only obvious that the outcome of the game can be determined by one player and one player alone, of course the other 4 skaters and the goalie are useless. I mean if Bird versus Johnson worked in the NBA there's no reason it can't work here with Crosby and Ovechkin, just like it was obvious to everyone that Bruce McNall had nothing but the best interests of the NHL at heart when he sold them on the idea of sunbelt expansion.
  7. Finally got a few photos of me, and of course not the best quality. ;)
  8. Once again, they score an awful, awful, awful lot of goals, they're on pace for 327 goals for this year. The Sunday after next should be fun, I wonder what the score will be against the Blackhawks, maybe 11-10 or 15-14.
  9. Nice game by the Capital tonight, THN is praising them a fair bit on their site, and they score an awful, awful lot of goals. They could be the highest scoring team we've seen in the last decade at the least.
  10. You would be right, in fact most people are beyond wondering what Pacioretty and D'Agostini are doing here in Montreal.
  11. In the pattern chart each curve is followed by a three digit number(i.e. Savard lie 4 is 124), does the last number indicate the lie number, and if so does this mean that both the Vanek and Kovalchuk will be available in lies 4 or 5? Also has the Kovalchuk now become a toe rather then a mid, and have they made the Vanek a deeper curve?
  12. I'm curious, what happens to the habs if they don't get excellent goaltending one night?
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EI9dez3LSyU Not a Leafs fan by any stretch of the imagination, but Leafs fans deserve some sympathy. That goal is beyond shameful, no team deserves goaltending like that.
  14. Actually the Habs never had quite the injury troubles Boston is having this year, they managed to self implode all by themselves, and their "talent" wasn't nearly as legit as the Bruins is. While it is alarming to see the bruins struggle to score so much, they do have a good enough defense and coaching to weather it out. Once a few guys return from the IR they'll be a playoff team.
  15. Wow, that would be something ! I don't like how Pierre McGuire addressed Habs fan specifically: "LOOK Canadian fans, LOOK! This is exactly what i'm talking about, Maxime Lapierre talks and [...]" Like we were ignorant or it was our fault. He may have addressed the Habs fans, but the message was towards everyone in Habs-dom. Lapierre is seen as a rat by many and the media and fans have been enablers for him, of course he's not that different than Avery or Burrows in that regard. Mcguire actually mentioned this very topic with the team 990 a few weeks ago, and how some one was going to cave his face in, as silly as it sounds he's trying to help Lapierre by calling him out like that.
