Time for New Shin Pads

Well guys, its time for me to start thinking about shin pads (since my team told me not to return next season until i get new shin pads). I'm 5'6 150lbs and have skinny legs. Any suggestions on what to get. I've heard the bauer vapor fit the skinny fairly well. I would like of course to have them light and keep my mobility. I play in a 3 on 3 league in the winter and just pick up in the summer and play forward most of the time.

I suggest you get in the gym and do leg exercises until you can't walk! All kidding aside, the Vapors would be a good pad to look at.

Yeah Vapor XXXX's are what i have and theyre pretty narrow

Another vote for the Supremes. I always had Easton shins and loved how skinny they were, but they would break pretty easily blocking shots. Just got the One95s and they're AWESOME! Most comfortable shins I've had, and they seem to be tanks!

I'd suggest Vapors based on owning a pair myself. I originally bought the XXXX but the padding was too thick for my liking at the knee cap area and wouldn't fit my knee comfortably. I went back to the store to downgraded them for a pair of XXV's and they've been great so far.

i´d recommend the vapor xxxx. they´re pretty narrow....

Another vote for the Vapors or Supremes. Unbelievably comfortable, with a slim and deep fit. My second choice would be the Stealth 17 or Synergy 16 shins from Easton for a slim, deep, fit.

5'8" and 125...made a huge mistake getting RBK 3k's. I had Easton Stealth shins before and they were great, but I outgrew them.

I think i'm going to get a set of vapors. I was leaning toward them from before. I just have to decide if I should get the XXXX or the XXV or the XVI. For me, mobility and speed will be the deciding factor. Now i have to find a good deal.

Vapors are good - I really like the Warrior Hitmans but they are too skinny for me.

Im 5'10 180, using bauer pro lightspeeds. there bulletproof and its like i have the biggest calves in the world. We take padding out of em cuz there is almost too much in em.
