this is my first post since signing up so hi all

looks kind of like old TPS sticks, they even have morrow and nash curves. just curious as i'm from Wales in the U.K and these guys are in finland so not that far in terms of shipping. just hopin they'd be a little similar to my c9 or slowly degrading r8lite sticks. any thoughts?

I remember when I was a kid, they used to make a black wooden replacement blade whose description was very similar to the montreal m-9. Instead of 9 wood/fiberglass laminations it was wood/graphite lam.

Chadd, do you think there was any relation between Tac and Montreal. Wouldn't be too surprised as they're both Finnish.

there is a relationship between Tac and Montreal. We received the Tac40 wood stick from Montreal. They also have a Tac replacement blade listed in their catalogue. I'm not positive what the exact relationship is though.

I don't know about the current blades but I know for a good three year span or so I considered a Tac blade in an brown ultra lite as my favorite two piece by far.

I used one of there wood sticks this season and it was solid. Not much of an ops company, they focus on wood, very solid stick

I sort of second that. Brown jr. ultralite with a montreal m5 blade was absolute favorite. I miss them days.

i've fired off an email askin for specs like weight, prices and specific curve details. found a germen hockey shop sellin their top line carbon/wood hybrid for 99 euros but thats the only product i've found. maybe i'll try ebay finland. anyone speak finnish ? ;)

Tac have been around for years. To my knowledge at least since the 80s, i'm sure a lot of the Soviet, Finnish and swedish guys used to use them along with the torspos, and they may probably/possibly have been around longer. They've always made pretty solid wooden sticks and blades. They are not an upstart like Brooklynite.
