Custom Skate Work in Northeast

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I bought a pair of One95s off ebay and skated on them and immediately noticed the left holder was a little off. Brought them to Philbrick's in New Hampshire and they said there is nothing they can do to fix them. The holder is tilted in towards the inside of the skate slightly. I will post pics when I get a chance. I can try Pure Hockey to see if they can do anything about it. I wear a 6D skate and Philbricks said that there wasn't enough room to remount in new holes. Anyone got any suggestions?

Try TSR in Salem or No-Icing Sports in Hudson. I've never really been a fan of Philbricks and thier customer service.

+1 on No Icing. I haven't had experience with TSR with my skates but No Icing has always been very helpful.

Whatever you do, skip Pure Hockey for skate repairs. No Icing, TSR, and Zwickers are trusted places for me.

Absolutely +1 on skipping Pure Hockey. They're a great retail shop, but most of the guys there are very inexperienced when it comes to skate repairs.

This is probably out of the way for you, but Ray's Ultimate Hockey in Smithfield, RI should be able to easily take care of your problem. I've had many ice holders/inline chassis mounted and heel lifts done without a problem. Almost always same day too.
