ouhockeyplayer 1 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 I ordered a pair of Warrior custom gloves on July 9th and it is now August 7th. The projected ship date on my gloves is September 3rd (according to their confirmation email). This seems like it is taking forever. The anticipation is driving me nuts. Whenever I check the status on them it always says they are in production/being cut. I guess my question is, how long have all of you who have ordered custom gloves from Warrior waited to recieve them?
SuperMan3 1 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 6-8 weeks buddy live with it.
shoeshine boy 249 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 I got mine in about 4-5 weeks but that was back in the spring when I'm sure they weren't as busy. they were being "cut" for the longest time and then suddenly they were being embroidered and a day later, shipped. the true agony for me was the wait while they shipped. I think it was worth it though.
The Dangler 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 If they said they would be there in September, then man up and wait. I waited about 4 weeks myself, they said it would take 6 but i got them much sooner, i was so happy to get them.
ouhockeyplayer 1 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 I sure hope the wait is worth it. I have been extremely dissapointed with the quality of my Easton pro stock gloves (stitching is constantly coming undone). How has the quality been on the Warrior gloves? shoeshine boy 249 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 I love mine and the workmanship has been outstanding. best gloves I've ever owned.
noodle3872 40 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 Placing an order for Custom gloves at the same time Warrior is building gloves in preparation for the upcoming NHL season wasn't the best idea. Hang in there, the wait will be worth it.
clthockey22 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2009 yeah, I would love a pair, but the wait would kill me. Talking the wife into a pair for my b-day, that way I wouldn't know. she already has a few layouts in her email. told her to pick one
Rocketking 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2009 So I have a pair of the Super Mac Daddy gloves and think they are great. How much better are customs? What are the major differences?
rtwng20 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2009 First of all let me say I am absolutly a glove lunatic, I really don't have a count on how many pairs I own. About 80 % are pro returns. I have 6 large garbage cans filled with gloves along with some bags and closets. I recieved a pair of Fedetenko Warriors that I won on Ebay just today and I can say that the quality can't be compared to any other gloves I own. I have numerous /eastons, bauers, eagles.tps, rbk's and ccm's and have yet to put my hands in anything as comfortable. The craftmanship blew me away. Right after I opened them I was on the phone with great skate asking questions regarding the custom franchises as I'm considering ordering a pair in my team colors. I just hope the ones we can order as consumers are as good as the pro returns I got today. My suggestion is to relax and tough it out I think you will be as pleased as I was today when the UPS man left.
The Dangler 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2009 So I have a pair of the Super Mac Daddy gloves and think they are great. How much better are customs? What are the major differences?Customs can be upwards of $280-300 Canadian with the fast shipping, i think they come to around 260 without? Not sure. I paid 289.99 for mine. They should be more durable then the super mac's which i heard had awful palms on them, however honestly there probably not worth it. You get to pick the colors, material of the glove, palm material and internal padding. Here are mine :Tufftek with carbon accents, pro padding with plastic inserts and lock thumbs, nash palms and my name on the cuff.
Xtra 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2009 After coming back from a Salinas, California Air Show... An inspiration has sparked to order custom warrior ( pants + gloves ) in the color scheme of the U.S. Navy: Blue Angels.Loved them since I was a kid & the last show I ever witnessed was when I was about 6 or 7. I'm 23 now and sat in a box seat section ( 1st row ) while the Blue Angels performed. I was like a kid in a candy store... My oh my - I got an itch to just sport their colors during stick and puck time here at my local rink...I'll post pictures when my stuff come-- It's a crazy idea but after meeting the pilots, They're an amazing group of guys. Can't believe I didn't get this idea earlier

IniNew 53 Report post Posted August 10, 2009 that logo on any of the michigan jerseys would also be awesomeI had to change the colors a bit, on the jersey, as the shades of blue and gold were slighty different. Also added more gold to the logo cause with the dark jersey, it was an overload of blue.Edit: Heres a shot with the Back name/numberMichigan StyleBeware, large image. shotty 7 Report post Posted August 10, 2009 it looks weird with the crest offcentre, even though the logo itself is centered... if that makes any sense.
Xtra 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2009 It makes sense. the jets flying out of the logo make it look off-center. It is centered though :) It's creative and It's amazing that someone came up with that for me :-)

Nice commentary on the Franchise gloves! If you do order your gloves through the customizer, rest asured that it will be the same sewing line, palms, outer covering materials and internal foams that we use on our NHL gloves. Same factory, same product.
stock07 1 Report post Posted August 11, 2009 I ordered a custom pair on July 2nd and the ship date is Sept. 7th...It is worth the wait, outstanding gloves. You will love them when they arrive, just hang in there...
ouhockeyplayer 1 Report post Posted August 11, 2009 I can't wait to get them. It makes me feel good to hear everyone say how top notch the quality of the gloves are. After using my Easton pro stock equipment I am very skeptical about manufacturing processes. Even the stitching on my pants has come undone. I feel like I have taken up a side job (sewing).
