Flexlite 4.0 weight

Recommended Posts

i can't find listed weights for them anywhere, but..... coincidentally i did have one of each of the x:60s and flexlite 4.0s in my hands today, and didn't notice much of a difference between the two. the flexlite may have been a hair heavier.

again... not scientific, but hope it helps.

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on the flexlite 4.0 in Montreal ?

I know that A. Roy Sports have them on their website but I don't know if their store has it in stock.

I checked with A.Roy Sports and they do not have the flexlite 4.0 in stock

will keep looking thanks

I dont mean to thread jack but, what is the difference between the Flexlite Pros and the Flexlite 4.0s?

4.0 Pro's have a very similar liner and tongue to a vapor xxxx or one95. Its a top of the line skate at a great price considering what everything else out there is going for. The regular 4.0's are comparable to a vapor xxv. The liner material, internal foams, and padding and felt in the tongue are similar in build to the xxv.

According to the specs in the the Bauer catolog, both the "4.0 Pro" and the "4.0" only have 2 differences. These being:

Variable X-Stiffness flexposite quarter package VS. Variable Stiffness

and

Full Composite Outsole VS. Full fiber composite outsole.

The lining material, tongue, and all other features are identical. The liner and tongue seem to be the same as the XXXX and one95.

Note: I've never seen them in person as my LHS doesn't carry this line either. Bummer considering I'd definitely like to purchase them but don't want to order 4 pairs just to find the right fit.

I feel your pain. I think the Flexlite is going to be the skate fit for me but I'm going to have to drive 3 hours to Edmonton and three hours back because no store in Calgary is carrying the Flexlite line.
