Identifying pro stock easton vs. E-pro gloves on ebay

Recommended Posts

Pro stock or retail E-Pro's?

I'm looking at purchasing the gloves in link above, but before I do, I would love your opinions on whether they are pro stock, or simply the retail E pro's in Sabre's colors.

I've read the threads on these boards for tips on telling the difference. The consensus seems to be if the gloves are different colors than Navy/Black, then they are likely pro stock. If you guys think otherwise, post your thoughts here! One thing that is making me suspicious is that these glove have been listed since Apr 2009, so maybe you guys know something I don't.

Thank for your help.

So is the bio dri liner (and team colors) worth the $50-60 increase over the retail E Pros? I guess since these are pro model, they are made in Canada so the manufacturing quality is much higher than the gloves made in China, which translates into a longer usage life as well.

don't be worried about the fact that they've been listed for months. lots of people who have a large lot of the same item will list them that way until the complete lot is gone. those are sweet gloves. if you don't buy'em I'm gonna! ;)

hockeyone has the e-pro retail for 89.99. but they also havee-pro nhl gloves for 159.99. the difference is the nhl model is made to the team specs and colorways.

but as far as being pro return i go with what jr said.

Thanks for all the input. I'll post my thoughts once I get them!

To the above poster, there were some red gloves (phoenix coyotes I think) on ebay just a few days ago. Also, I've seen a few Synergy 800 pro stocks in Minnesota Wild and Pittsburgh Penguins colors as well. Not sure what the differences between the E-pro pro stock and Synergy pro stocks are, but the gloves look very similar in the pictures.
