They are really on their game, especially Datsyuk and Zetterberg , who are on fire. A game or two ago the FSN crew showed a graphic that since the end of January they have scored more goals than any other duo in the league. Good time to get hot.

What a game tonight against Nashville. Defensive showing by both teams and 11th round of the shootout with both goaltenders showing great performances.

Would have liked both points in regulation to tie Nashville, but good nonetheless.

Yeah that was a good game all around by both teams. I felt bad for nashville's goalie, because he played just as good as Howard.

If Chicago tanks and we win more than half of our games, we can take the division. Chances of this happening: 4%. Still, It would be awesome to rip the division out of their hands when they were all high on this "changing of the guard" angle.

I about puked when I saw he was in goal today. All they need is 2 points to make the playoffs. Should've played Howard to get it over and done with.

Were going to be fine but you can't play howard all the time, and it wasn't all osgoods fault. Yes they were some bad goals but he could have had some help.

An afternoon game after an important division game is the perfect time to get your backup in the game and rest your starter. While the Wings could have played better, that first goal he gave up is the kind of goal that just kills a team.

Looking over the point totals at this point it looks like the Wings are secured in the playoffs despite the loss. Now it's just a race to not be in 7th and face the Blackhawks first round, they're the one team in the West that I don't see the Wings coming out on top of.

Yea, they are for sure in the playoffs, it says they've clinched a spot on NHL.com. Now we've just got to worry about who we play, like you said.
