Ice all over my tape!

What are some techniques you guys use to keep ice off of the tape on the blade of your stick?

Wax it. Then heat up with a hair dryer until the wax melts in. Wax again. The end.

Get Stinger Pro Wax, it smells like coconuts. No matter how bad we you are losing just tack a sniff of your blade and you will feel all good again.

Sex wax with a little heat from the heat gun=no ice build up

I usually just find some candle wax and just apply it. It's not a big improvement but, it works pretty well lol

Base surf wax works best IMO.

Almost all hockey shops worth their salt sell a surf wax like Sex Wax or any other variation. Just dont leave the stuff in your bag during a hot summer

I waxed one of my sticks a while back and I just used regular candle wax. Lasted well over 6 months.

Waxing the tape -culture is not blooming here. I dont know anyone locally, besides the NA players in our elite league who do it. So i dont know the benefits. Or where to get and how to use <_< None of our LHS carry wax.

Grocery store - by the jello, canning wax also know as paraffin wax, will cost you like $2.50. And you'll get about 3 times as much as you would pay for hockey/surfing wax.
