I want to say Jakub Voracek scored on his first shot last year (might not of been his first shift). I remember because it went through the netting, and later was reviewed to be a goal, all against Dallas of course.

Can't be Duchene, he had 6 career shots on goal coming into saturdays game against Detroit when he scored. Hell of a shot though. Tavares scored in his first game, but he had 2 shots on goal so I don't know if he scored on his first or second shot.

yah, i was at that game. the goal was sick! I knew it was his first NHL game and the goal was pretty early on in the game, but wasn't sure if it was his first shot. thanks for confirming.
