Bags

I'm looking into getting a new carry bag. I was wondering which brand or specific bag is more durable than others. (i always seem to tear a rip in the bottom)! Thanks in advance.

I got my bro a Warrior hitman carry bag for his birthday (7 months ago) and he's been really happy with it. He does put skate guards on his blades though, but he's been on the ice 5-6 days a week since last May and so far no problems.

+1

The Warrior hitman hockey bag is awesome. I highly recommend getting one. I have had mine for 3-4 months now I'm extremely happy with it!

My biggest gripe with those pro bags is no outside pockets. I have an absolutely destroyed Cosco bag that I refuse to get rid of because it has skate pockets and front and back pockets. I can't imagine using a bag with only one large open pocket (even with skate pockets inside, where do you put your towel? Or tape?

me too. i've been looking for a new one for a long time and the only reason i still have this one is because of its organizational elements (skate pockets, two huge end pockets)

If only they made them like they used to (without wheels) I'd probably buy one every year.

that reminds me of a quote i heard in the room during spring league: "wheel bags are for two kinds of players.... pussies and goalies"

...and up until right now i thought it was you that said it, but now im second guessing myself.

No, I'm pretty quiet in the room. And don't take to saying anything that might offend someone lol. Was probably Cam or someone lol

it was definitely cam, now that you mention it. i love that guy.

does anyone have any experience with the bauer cooler bag?

with both pocket and non pocket bags, ive always just kept my tape and other accessories in small cloth bag to keep everything together. as far as a towel, i just toss one in the bag as im heading to hockey so no issues with that.

Graf has a nice one with outside skate pockets, and an outside zippered storage pocket. Plenty of room too. I used it until I got a Grit Tower which is the schizzle IMO.

I'm a big fan of Laurin's bags. My AAA and high school teams had these, and they lasted forever. Washable, too.

I found some here: http://www.hockeyservices.com/hockey/jerseys/eqbg.html (Scroll down a bit to find them)

Custom colors and pocket arrangements, as well.

Laurin's website is http://laurinbags.com/, although it looks like they only sell directly with a minimum order.
