How sad, monkey used to be the place to go, sucks to hear its bad now. When I worked there, we took a lot of pride in sharpening skates well.

i think it depends on who is doing the sharpening. haven't gone there in a while to get it sharpened but they have a lot of people working there. so it's kind of a crap shoot.

i take mine to anaheim ice and glacial whenever i have a game now since i'm lazy. haven't had any issues there. but hockey giant...yeah i totally agree with that one.

for anyone in Toronto, hockeyexperts at kennedy commons does a good job and they have the flat bottom v too!

hands down the best in the city IMO - minto arena, the guy at the bottom level...he loves doing skates, taking his time, and is immaculate...he likes what he does and it shows
