Yeah they seem to have optimized it, it's much faster now. Maybe they also improved their customer service. Probably not.

LOL we can only hope...I placed and order online a few weeks ago and it took them a week and a half to get back to me the item I wanted was out of stock....

I just order from icewarehouse.com unless they dont have what i want. IW will ship products to me and they will be here within 24 hours, its amazing.

I have ordered from HM plenty of time before honestly have never had a problem...I have also ordered from IW and no problems there either....I live on the east coast so ground takes at least 5 days from the west coast anyway...

I've never had a problem from either place either. I've found that HM can be a day or two slower to get the shipment into the mail than IW, but otherwise, I haven't had any complaints.

does it look like a functioning website? if so, it's probably meant to look that way. and most people on here dont give a shit about the online stores because nobody is a fan about fucking over the shops you rely on for sharpenings.

puck, you do realize there are viruses and shit out there that run script on sites to make them appear something different, often in hopes to phish information out of you? If given access to this sites ftp area (or hack it depending on how much of my life i wanted to waste) I could manipulate the code to look like a v2 of the site, but all information goes to me, every donation into buy/sell would go to my account. With a site that deals with tens of thousands of dollars daily, it isn't surprising that someone might think that a non-pre-announced change would mean something weird is happening. Likely? Hell no. But it does happen.

Just saying go easy on the guy b/c while it isn't remotely probable, it is possible, and for non-computer savvy people, it would seem more probable. And as for the whole protect the LHS thing... i get it, im in same boat as you, but chill a bit. Couple posts last night seem like you had a vendetta or something against those who don't shop LHSly. I think all or most of the people on this site will try to go LHS as much as possible, however there are situations that require them to buy from other sources.

It was a simple question...Either you answer yes or no...Not "why do you want to know" or "does it look like it works"...There was no underlying reason for the question, I simply wanted to know if the had a new website design. I got my answer(yes) and got some dumbass 13yr. old responses from others...Nuff said, thanks to those who helped...

Now the whole buy local or buy online debate has been discussed here many, many times. I am not even going to attempt to dive into that with you...Simply put though, my nearest hockey shop is 3 hours away with not a very good selection for me, the economic situation sucks so saving $$ anywhere helps...I buy online period....But if my mom was driving me and paying for it I would go local like yourself....

News flash, most people are retards, especially the majority of people using computers. They have no clue what they are doing! That doesn't give you a right to make fun of them, or blast them for not knowing that a site could look different. Yes, his statement saying his computer was broken was a little bit silly and certainly ignorant, but why insult the dude? Whats the point?

I'm getting really fed up with all the crap that has been flying around here lately and it has to stop. Cleaning up the monkey cage after a flying poo battle is not one of the reasons we run this site and that will not be the norm here. We all have bad days, tomorrow will be a better one or people will be taking some time off.
