Limited Edition X:60 in Toronto

Recommended Posts

Hey,

Where is the cheapest place to buy a pair of LE X:60's in Toronto? One store has just quoted me $699 :o

Would it be cheaper If I find a Hockey store in Buffalo?

Thank

$539.00 USD = 555.17 CDN

If you declare your purchase, you then pay PST + GST at the border...15%

Total = $638.44

Savings is just over $60.00 ...hardly worth it.

He's from England, so he won't have to pay the GST. I'm assuming he doesn't live in Toronto, he's just making a trip there.

Yeah I'm just having a trip to Toronto mainly for goalie gear. I'm gonna take a look at Don simmons so Greatskate isnt that far from there might be worth taking the extra drive.

another cross border spelling discrepancy.

edit: a quick check reveals that "homey" actually gets hits on trusted dictionary reference sites, whereas "homie" turns up the two most "trusted" sites on the internet. urbandictionary and wikipedia.

OP: bauer dealers in the US aren't allowed to sell to customers with a canadian address. unless you're planning on driving to buffalo and not declaring your purchase upon your return.

Their is no screw job on canadian prices. There is higher duty rates on skates @ 18%. High-end skate = higher duties. as well as higher cost factors(ie. freight,warehousing,etc.)
