Big cut on new One95 skates

Recommended Posts

I have only had my new One95 skate for a month now. To my horror today when I was taking off my skates after the game, I saw a huge cut on my inner left skate. See picture for better description.

So is this something I have to worry about and get it fix or is it just cosmetic??

Thanks

Re glue that piece with loctite super bonder or gorilla glue before it becomes structural.

Yeah, just glue it down and it will be fine. I've been surprised at how much of a beating these skates can take. They can take some visually horrible damage semi-quickly but they hold up well.

It probably looks smaller because the skate is held diagonally (the steel is'nt facing the camera straight).

Or he could've used his old holders/steel and swapped them on. Why be an ass about it.

hahaha, no worries.

Actually, I did have it profiled twice because I did not like LS2.1 as it was cheaper than replacing it to LS2 (only had to pay once for profiling). It also profiled to be forward pitched. I think the combination of profiling and camera angle makes it small, it looks normal otherwise, cheers.

As for the cut I glued it down, seems fine for now. I really hope it does not effect the structure, I would be heart broken.

Thanks guys.
