Gaborik Curve?

I did a search and found 2 pages of nothing specific to my question, also looked @ the pattern db for an answer to no avail.

Question is regarding the Easton Gaborik curve. I notice Gabby is still being used by Easton in their marketing material but not seeing any of his curves on HockeyGiant, HockeyMonkey, IceWarehouse etc., Other than SE6's I cant find this curve anywhere else.

So...did his curve get removed from production or replaced by another name?

Nope, that meathook is gone. SherWood Coffey curve is its closest living relative.

as far as I know, they only produce the curve on the se6. Other than that, I believe it has disappeared.

LOL does it really curve that much? I remember seeing the Yzerman curve and wanting to try it. I guess the two are very similar.

Ah I see. Well, I picked up an original Stealth from a guy here w/ the Gaborik curve. I have a feeling I'm going to like it so preparing to find some sticks in the same curve if that is the case. Also picked up a Forsberg S17 from him.

Gaborik curve is being re-released on a limited basis on the SE16 only with a different lie. SHould be available June/July along with the Shanahan curve re-named as Cammalleri.

From my understanding there is no minimum but I'm not 100% sure how much repeat stock would be available...put a bug in their ear now.

Well, if I like this Stealth I picked up — I'll likely order an SE6 in the same curve. Then — an SE16 down the line :)

I'll be one of those people too. I love that curve, its a long blade that has a nice flat section on the heel to do stick handling and a nice little toe curve that isn't crazy open like most pro stock toe curves out there (cough ovi cough). I've been using sakic clones since i got back into hockey, but it's just not the same. hopefully they make tapered blades because I've been really digging my xn10 shafts.
