Got GTA: San Andreas

Got it today, This game is INSANE! Hands down the best game i've ever played and i've only put in an hour. The difference between the old GTA's is unbeliveable. Swearing, new fighting engine, everythings good. Everybody cancel their live's and pick this game up.

5 Stars Hands down.

IGN gave it a 9.9, thats the best score ever (for ign). Only game I think that has a chance of beating it is Halo 2.

I really want to pick it up, but I have two huge projects due this week and next week. My better judgment is telling me not to get it until I'm done with those. Lets see how long that lasts.

It wont come out for quite some time. I heard rumors of febuary or march 2005.

The wait will be worth it though, the graphics and everything will be way better, Just like how they upgraded everything in VC and GTA3.

Yeah, Rockstar wont release it for any other platform untill their deal with sony is up, even longer. For both the xbox and the pc it could be from 6 to 8 months.

Being as they use almost exactly the same code between the xbox and pc versions.... I'm guessing it'll reach the PC right about the same time as it comes out on xbox.

Yeah, it's just a time exclusivity deal. Sony still holds the contract for GTA games.

I cant get over this game, so much swearing, killing, Pure grand theft fun.

I've been playing it for an hour. So far its awesome. The game is massive. Only thing I've seen so far that I don't like are the motorcycle cops who shoot at you, plus its nearly impossible to get rid of your wanted level.

Yeah, I agree with the wanted level. One fun thing to do, Find a rancher or dirt bike and hit up the country. I love this game.

I read in an article, this one guy started as far east as he could and drove non stop untill he reached the far west and it took him an hour in a half. Now I haveto belive him because it was in a freakin magazine, but... its hard to belive him. Since you guys have the game, any info on that?

Hour and a half may be a little much, but its at least a half hour I'd say. The game is massive, I've only just started but I don't I'll ever get familiar with all of it.
