Bauer one60 LE

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering is someone can help me out, I've been trying to find a source for the Bauer one60 limited edition in Canada. More specifically, Moncton, NB. I've called local shops which in turn have called the local Bauer rep and they've never heard of them. Right now it's looking like i'll have to cross the border. I have no problem ordering from an online retailer because I'll probably order from hm anyways.

IW has the 22nd , but since your going at the end of the month, your timing should be perfect

Does anyone know how the one60 compares to the old one90 as far as performance and weight goes? My old one90s are beat up and need upgrading and I love the look of the one60 LEs. Would they be a big step back quality wise?

there's the 100LE's too

I'd think those would be a closer match to your one90's..but pricey

one60s compared to old one90s? not even close.

if you want your one90s get one80s. if you want a boot that is going to last a longer time get one100s. the 60s are a long way from what the one90 offered. even if you're on a budget, it is going to be worth it for you from what you've been used to.

I see it now, thank you. As far as comparing to the one90's there not close in build and quality. But they are lighter, 863 grams compared to 882 of the one100's.

Do you know who's going to carry them in Canada? I've called the local shops and they've only heard of the one100 le's.

Here's the answer i received from PHL, "Unfortunately, this skate is for the US market only." So who knows if it's ever coming to Canada.

I was able to order them today through ice warehouse. They had them in stock a week earlier then expected so it works out perfectly for the first game of the beer league season.

I picked up my new one60 le's on the weekend, had them baked and sharpened yesterday and had my first game with them last night. I'm coming from vector 6's so there's a slight learning curve, but there way lighter and look a lot better. But needless to say there great skates at a good price, there was no frayed stitching or excess glue anywhere. I was surprised because the few one60's i looked at had some kind of blemish on them.

I'm thinking about picking up a pair of the one60 LEs. Im currently skating in Vapor x:15s but I am starting to think they are too narrow for me. The Supreme line is supposed to be a bit wider than the Vapor line right?

wow this is the exact same thing that happened to me this weekend. the only difference is they were a bit tight near the outside of the toe box so the guy at my LHS streched them a bit for me (near the most bottom eyelit). they felt great on the ice, way lighter than my old Mission AGX's

Yeah, there a bit tighter almost to the toe box. But after the baking it made them fine. The only time I notice it is when walking to the ice. On ice was perfect. They are more narrow then my ccm's. But I can't really compare to Bauer since the last pair I had was about 15 years ago.

Got my new Bauer One60 LE skates today (10D) and so far I'm very impressed for what you get.

Lightspeed 2 holders with Tuuk Super Stainless runners

Hydrophobic Grip lining

The quarter package is a 3D composite, feels rubbery

Call me crazy, but these are a lot like One95s. Baby One95s even

I know the One95s have a better runner and built better, but the fit and feel are very alike and very lightweight as well.

I have a pair of Pro Stock X:60s and honestly I find them both overall good skates for the value.

I've used One95s that were already broken in and sharpened so I can't quite judge the One60s, but I'm sure that these One60s would have been far more expensive 3 years ago when the One95s came out.
