Well frankly I don't think that a public forum would be the best place to talk about obtaining any form of media illegally. That being said, a PM to me could work wonders...

While its hard to justify downloading a song, movies cost a hell of a lot more to make and require much more work.

Im sure none of them are starving. That being said, you can get movies most places where you get songs.

I could go into my diatribe against the record industry again but it's a bit of a tangent. I downloaded some versions of Kevin SMith movies that are edited differently from the final versions that I own as well.

kmac, look under every post. The thing that says "PM" enables you to send a Private Message to any other member.

No, actually I don't download songs anymore. I may buy CD's and put them on my PC so I can put them on my MP3 player, but I don't download songs.

Congrats for being a sucker.

If I bought every single album that I have on my iPod i'd spend thousands of dollars. Going to a concert and spending 100+ dollars for that is enough of a contribution for me.

I don't know where you are going to concerts but all I know is thatevery one I have went to (Metallica twice, Sum 41 three times, Velvet Revolver, and Blink 182) has never been over $100, and I have had top tickets the best time. The most I spent was $75 on Metallica.

Being in a band myself, I know it can be difficult to write songs and make good music, and it's only a hobby for me. If somehow I did make it into the industry and wad getting paid for writing music, I know that I wouldn't want people stealing it from me.

I agree that concerts are now outrageous in price and since these guys call sell out charging 70+ a ticket they will keep doing that and even charging more. This I believe is stealing from us. So I believe what goes around comes around. If CD were under $10 and concerts were reasonable more people could afford them.

I do however appriciate a few bands who put a limit on ticket prices, like when Garth Brooks used to come to town he wouldnt let the price exceed $40. Big ups to bands that do this.

Download movies is ignorant, and no matter what you argue, 99% of the world will agree with me. Movies and music should not be put in the same category. Myself, I will NEVER download a movie, but I download songs. IMO I should have the right to. If I like a few songs by a band I will go out and buy the cd, I've only burned a couple full cd's in my life, mostly ones I cant find anywhere. I hope everybody who downloads movies gets punished to full extent.

BTW Mack, make another comment like that and there will be big trouble, TOUGH GUY

Tickets to the incubus concert here are/were 120+ when I looked for some.
