need opinions on curve

what retail curve that is like zetterberg but more open? I'm looking at vanek curve but it seems that its a straight-mid curve than mid heel.

Yeah, you are SOL... Vanek is more open, but more of a straight curve... Drury is the same.

I would say your best option might be a Lidstrom. More open, but also a deeper curve. Not to mention the differences in lie and toe shape...

P106 is an option, or come over to the dark side with the Drury :D

LOL! after a lot of searching around, these are my options: lidstrom (AK27), getzlaf (ST), drury (but its hard to find this curve for under $40 so i'm considering kovalev curve on AK27).

any suggestion? and also durability of warrior blade? i got zetterberg (ST) but it makes the stick blade heavy.

Keep in mind the lie of the lidstrom and drury curve is different than the zetterberg , for some people this can really throw someone off. If the only thing you want different in the zetterberg is an open face than you should look into the ryan, its a lower lie heel curve but with an open face. It's also not as deep a curve as the lidstrom or as open as the drury.

ryan is listed as 5.5 lie. is it the same as lidstrom and drury? and if my eyes weren't wrong, it looked similar to vanek curve.

I moved from a Zetterberg to a p106 and found it a pretty natural transition if you want something with a bit more loft/curve.

If you can find one, you might want to look for an Easton Darby pattern. It is usually found on prostocks.

It's the same as the curve he mentioned in the first post as not being what he wanted.

how companies measure and list their lies are inconsistent across the board. you can have two clones with different listed measurements. from experience, the ryan is a lower lie than the drury, which itself is slightly a lower lie than the lidstrom (allbeit almost insignificantly). the zetterberg itself is slightly a lower lie than the ryan. for most people these minor differences don't mean anything, but for others it could throw you off quite a bit.

I moved from a Zetterberg to a p106 and found it a pretty natural transition if you want something with a bit more loft/curve.

i found the switch from p106 to zetterberg pretty rough, switched back to a p106, then couldn't stand the rocker anymore and switched to a p88. funny how that works.

ok, i've compared p106 to ztterberg from IWH n i believe its the open version. But, it seems its only available in Total blade and its so expensive (above $60 and not sure about its durability). Also, no luck on one95 too..

tried lidstrom yesterday for 3 hours but its too deep and too open. So, for under $50 is there any options for me? Or should i try warrior vanek?
