Pro curves in retail?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering,

are there any retail curves that represent any pro curves?

I know the retail easton drury is Yzerman's pro curve

I would be interest in knowing if there are more of these cases,

thanks in advance

Most retail patterns are pretty damn close to various PS curves.

The players grow up using retail curves, and when they finally have the chance to create their own offering the changes are general minimal.

For example, Brooks Laich uses a retail Drury on his sticks.

As you may know, soon, CCM will be offering Ovechkin's pro pattern at the retail level. With the spread of knowledge through the internet, I expect in ten years companies will likely offer many pro stock options to a retail audience. Both the NHL and the companies market their big stars too large not to. Just looks like CCM will be the first to test the waters.

That's becoming more true as more kids that grew up with OPS and composite make their way into the NHL. The guys that grew up using wood sticks and blades are the ones that created the odd blades.

Similar to be exact?

Look at the ROY curve in person and if you have/or in the future se a Hall or Langkow, you'll see they are practically the same. He wanted to know if pro's use retail type curves and these are a perfect example.

I think he was mocking your use of those terms.
