2011 Warrior DD Stick Problem

Recommended Posts

Sad, because I probably won't buy another one if they barely last three months and the other brands don't have a similar curve.

Try finding a replacement blade? Or go with a shaft blade combo

Last Night I learned another DD is failing. Same problem, heel is crumbling to the point there is a hole in it. Stick will not last long. I will NEVER EVER buy another Warrior stick. This is by far the worst quality OPS I have ever seen.

Is there any blade that will fit in an intermediate 2011 DD ops after the blade goes?

I put a Dolomite tapered blade (senior) in my intermediate Dolomite Spyne ops

Yea dude I have the SAME exact problem I just switched to the one95 because my blades kept falling apart on my draper curve 2010 dolo dd's (not just the heel, the whole bottom. I thought something was wrong with my technique. Here's some pictures. (On right is the Dolo, on the left is an old backup x40 that the same thing happened to)

I tape my stick completely and never bang them on the boards/ice. I kept using it after it cracked and it got really bad as you can see.

This also happened to my friend in his first practice with it, it was a 2011. He ended up getting a total one

Im also done with warrior sticks. Once mine fully breaks I will be using my Total one.. Then maybe try a Reebok.. I liked Easton till every one I owned the blade cracked. The one95 was the most durable top of the line stick ever IMO, hopefully the total one can live up to it.

I was not liking the Dolo at first but I've gotten use to it. I haven't switched back to the T1 because I really wanted to give the Dolo a go. However a tiny hole and crack has developed on the heel from the chip I had. This is the 3rd time a Warrior blade (2 HD & 1 DD) has crumbled on me. I will be returning this stick. Don't know if I'm looking forward to the Widow anymore.

I've had a couple Warrior sticks, but I've never liked one like the 2011 Dolo. I had the 2010 Dolo, and it was okay. I bought the 2010 Dolo Spyne and while it shoots well, the feel is terrible. So I haven't used them enough.

I personally wouldn't drop $70 for a new blade if it's gonna crack on me again in three months.

i am looking into getting a warrior stick, either the stick in question( dolomite 2011), or the widow/diablo. is it confirmed that its the blade, and not just the shooter?

thanks in advance

Sent my DD back after 25 days on warranty. Hope they dont send another DD that will break on me in a month. Just bought a Diablo for the meantime and it kicks HARD. It has replaced the dolo as my favorite stick. Hopefully the durability is better than my DD. Il update you guys on the durability.

Better be sure about T1 durability first. In my experience they break at the shaft more than most.

I've been having the same problem (2010 Pro Stock Dolo Spyne). The durability of the blade on the Dolomites is awful.
