what company makes a great glove with small cuffs

Recommended Posts

I have Mission L7 pro stocks that have a small cuff and that I rather enjoy wearing. I think Monkey had a variety of them for sale.

Bauer X:60 Pro! Best glove period! The cuff may look longer than you like but check em out. They have the super short almost removed folding cuff on the bottom and the top portion of the cuff is rolled so you never feel the glove.

I had a pair of L7 Rafalski (had his name on the Mission label on the plastic bag but not on the gloves) pro returns that had a very short cuff. Was told they were a 14" glove when I got them and they did fit very snug too. I have a couple pair of pro return XXXX's and one pair of pro return X:60's and they both have a fairly short cuff with lots of mobility as well.

what about tps gloves any good. I don't think i'm going to put this right but do any of u guys wear gloves that are tight to your hand they are smaller kind of like lacrosse gloves. I only play mens league now so im so much into protection looking more for comfort and stick handling thanks in advance

TPS R8's will be a pretty roomy fit.

RBK 8k gloves have the tight adjustable cuff just like the 10k but less expensive but still super comfortable and light. im using the ccm 4RP's they are a more low-profile traditional style glove with a smaller cuff

If you don't care too much about high end protection, want a tight fit with a small cuff, and don't wanna pay too much, you should look into Nike/Bauer Vapor gloves. Very snug fit around the hand, but great wrist mobility, and you can often find them on sale. For example, hockey monkey has the XXXX on sale for $90:

But even the lower end ones like the XXVs are pretty comfy gloves if you can find them.

I'm really happy with my Bauer 4-rolls. Been using them for 3+ seasons and they're very sturdy, protective, light, and are vented. Price is right at below $100 and they have that classic OG look.

Try the DR Legend, for the $60 that it costs, it has a really short cuff and is as protective as my EQ5 pro stocks. I had a bit of stitching come out around the one finger, but a little bit of fishing line fixed that right up. Other than that, they are easily the best sub-$75 glove on the market.

Eagle pfx have a pretty short cuff. They fit and look just like a ppf ( a bit more snug than a traditional 4 roll ), but are made overseas instead of in Canada. I bought a pair to use for roller and pond , and i can tell you there a great glove for 80 bucks. They feel just like my ppf's but have a lighter foam , thinner plastic inserts, and different liner.
