Hey me and a friend of mine were at the DU - CC hockey game tonight at Magness in denver...and we both spotted players using a neon green synergy. Also I saw a mission of some type that was red and black. Just wondering weather or not any of you guys might have an idea of what they might be. I wish I had a camera to take a couple of pics...

You sure it was a Synergy and not a Tour Beemer with a Synergy label stuck on? I don't know if you would call them "Neon" but the new Tour Beemer sticks are a bright Kelly green.

its probally an L-2 with red tape on it were the blade and shaft meet.

hey guys. this isnt a joke. i'm sure it was some kind of easton OPS, it was like the octane green. the mission OPS was black fading to red around the kickpoint. I dunno much more then that.

Black fading to red sounds like a Stealth Grip. Hex-1 is white.

There is pretty much no way Denver U or Colorado College would be using Tour sticks.

Watching the Denver, Minnesota game last night there was at least one player using this green stick. There was a close up and I could make out the Easton logo on the bottom. It also had the fade that synergy sticks have near the blade. The thickness of the blade didn't look as thin as the Tour sticks nor as bright. Take this for what it's worth. With all the new Easton sticks coming out and many of the colors already in use green seems like a good fit.

Well i think that your talking about a Synergy ST Grip for the neon green stick and for the black fading to red it could be a stealth grip, thats just my opinion from what ive read about the 2 and the pictures ive seen

The green stick is definitely the new Synergy ST. The other is just a red Mission L-2 with the bottom spray painted black. Some of the DU players spray their blades/fuse points in an attempt to repel water I guess. If I remember correctly, I don't think any DU player uses a Stealth. Most use Synthesis, Synergy's or Mission's. On a different DU note...in their game against Boston, Borque was sporting the new XXX skates, but I guess that's not a big deal since they'll be released soon anyways.

DU players are forced to use shafts as they overran their budget bad last year on sticks. and thats comign fromt heir equipment manager
