Reebok 8k Holders

Recommended Posts

I like the skates a lot but the holders are a pain in the ass. Always have to tighten the nuts... Wath would be the best performance holders to replace them that would fit Reebok skates 7D.

Thanks

There is no "holder" that is going to offer better performance. All holders have runner hardware that loosens. Like Race said, use loctite and you'll be fine.

Thanks guys, I beleive I can buy that at "RONA" or "Canadian Tire" ... I just put the loctite on both sides of the runner and it will stay tight? And I will still be able to lose it if I need to change the steel with the blue one?

Use the blue. Separate the thread screw from the female counterpart and drop an eyedrops worth on the threads. Insert steel and reattached using the two screws. They will not come out without the use of a screwdriver anymore.

speaking of which....i hear a "clicking" with my holders when I'm walking on them from the locker room to the ice. I heard Loctite can fix this too, but anyone know how I would go about doing it?

Well when you ear that clicking when you walk on them it's the sign your screw are loose!
