How do I convert a one piece to a two piece stick

Recommended Posts

Pretty self explanatory. I assume you cut the blade off and then put the blade in. Not exactly sure where to cut the blade though. There's a little line about 4-6 inches from the blade. I assume this is where the the stick is fused. I hope I'm right :p.

Thanks,

Welcome to MSH Buui,

This topic has been discussed a few times. Here's a link to the one thread.

A recent post in that same thread has some good pictures walking you through the process. Here's a link.

The forum has a Search feature that is good for finding things that have been posted already. I find the best results by selecting the "Google Site Search" option from the drop-down menu next to the search field.

Good luck!

Thanks cooperalis. Will use the search button next time. Also, do I have to ask "how to" questions here? Or can I ask other questions?

You're welcome. It's best if you can post your question in the most appropriate forum. If you look at the structure of the "Forums" page you will see it goes from general (Locker Room) to more specific (Ice Hockey Equipment, Roller Hockey Equipment, Goalie Equipment) topics. If you're not sure where to post your question, you could PM (Personal Message) a moderator and ask.

Any advice on the other way around this topic?!

A player snapped his one-piece se16 about 8 inches up from the fuse point?!

The Blade is in great condition!?

How to remove the shaft part without harming the blade?!?!

I've saved blades before. I shaved away the top of the shaft off with a chop saw then made one cut on each of the other three sides at the fuse point. Tapped with a screwdriver and the rest came off in one piece.
