where to cut a si-core

i know this is probably been mentioned lots before...but i broke my sicore last night and want to throw a new blade into in(synthsys or that style) but im not too sure where to cut and how to go about it. Any tips would be helpful.

CUT THE SHAFT AT THE POINT WHERE IT LOOKS LIKE THE BLADE IS GLUED ON. THEN CUT LIL BY LIL TILL THE BLADE FITS INTO THE SHAFT. IF U UT TOO FAR U MAY NEED TO PUT A LIL BIT OF TAPE IN THE INSERT PART OF THE BLADE TO MAKE A GOOD FIT

Break your computer.

Find the fuse point line and chisel, s'what I did with my regular synergy.

iv been doing that fro the past 20mn nothing is working..............

I took a piece of metal, tapped to see where it was hollow and started a little below that. Then worked my way up, the shaft turned out well, I'm just too damn lazy to chisel, but you could do that as well (when you start below the hollow sound).
