Pro Stock Bauer Vapor XXXX gloves

Hi,

found these ones

on ebay and really like them. They also ship to europe which is very rare for Pro stock equipment on ebay.

Has anybody experience with this gloves? how do they fit? how is the quality? Is the price reasonably??

Vapor Pro xxxx gloves are my favorite gloves ever. They are light, not bulky at all and really fit my hand well and snug. I bought a pair yesterday. Mine are wearing out and these will not be available for long. My pair has lasted well over three years playing 2-3 times a week.

Bought a pair from the same seller. They are amazingly comfortable, light, mobile. Not incredibly protective but they do the job just fine.

What would be the difference between XXXX and X:60 ? I'm wearing pro stock hawks vapor XX right now.

I have both XXXX and X:60s, and the main difference is the mobility on the XXXX seem more loose but the X:60 has better protection. They are still my favourite gloves overall. Rolling your wrists around you may find the X:60s offer more freedom than the XXXX but nothing too drastic.

Another big difference is the flex on the thumb. The XXXX thumb flex point is at the lower part of your thumb while the X:60 has it split evenly. I found that the thumbs on the X:60s when moved have more protection applied (glove moves along side thumb) than the XXXX which just feels like it's a layer of protection (thumb clip moved more than the glove itself).

The XXXX feel slightly lighter than the X:60s and after breaking in both gloves, the XXXX will tend to loosen up a bit past someone's taste.

Even then, I still prefer the XXXX for their value but you cannot go wrong with the X:60s. I really wonder how they will improve with the APX gloves.

On a side note, I've also tried the retail versions of both of these gloves, and they definitely do not feel anywhere near as rigid as Pro Stock.

I really like the tighter fit of my XX over the XXX ( been a certain time I didn't shop for equipment LOL!) so I guess I'm better with X60 pro stock!

This is not a "plug" Vapor Pro xxxx's are getting harder to find especially if you are looking for a certain color. By stating that they will "not be available for long" is just a fact. I was happy to get mine!
