Thickest Skate lace

The stock laces that come with the Bauers are crap...imo...who has the thickest lace out there , available ?

Proguard waxed seem to be pretty thick. Thicker than the Bauer, reebok and graf laces I've used.

The Elite oval laces are extremely beefy. More wax than I like, but once you wear some of the wax out they're nice laces, I don't have to yank them super tight like I do with other laces because they really don't loosen up at all over the course of a game.

+1 - I'm a believer! Absolutely the best laces I've ever used. Especially since they don't get all thin when pulled tight. A bit wax heavy, but after a couple times lacing/unlacing they aren't bad at all. I'll never go back to flat laces.

These laces are REDIC. Played about 6 games in them and no slippage. Super grippy and thick. I was skeptical at first but I won't be buying anything else now.

Mine are doing what they're supposed to -- I don't feel the need to retighten my skates during a game.

Just thought I'd mention that the Ovals are no miracle product, they do shrink down and become quite stringy and stiffer over time. However for the time that they are in good condition, there is nothing else out there like it that I've tried.

I looked at a lot of web sites, including Elite, as I recall, and couldn't find the Pro Oval in anything over 120". As it turns out, they're OK as a replacement for the stock Bauer 120" laces that came on my One95s.

For what its worth, traditionally I have always used 120" laces and the Elite Oval 120's seem like they are over length.

I forgot to mention mine are for size 11 skates. I don't know that it makes a lot of difference, but it may make some.
