How Do You Hold Up Your Pro Stock Socks?

Just picked up RBK pro stock socks. Its my first Edge style sock. They don't really seem to stick to the velcro on my jock. How do you get them stay up?

Yep. Every single "Pro" I've seen uses a garter belt.

That said, I just sew in some Velcro. ('cause I ain't no Pro and prefer garters on women.)

I use either/or depending on what socks I have on. If they have velcro I use the velcro on my compression shorts... if not, I use the garter.

Like others here.... put them on over your existing velcro jock, mark where the hook-side is, and attach the loop side to the inside of your socks with a sewing machine or by hand.

Garter belts are popular in the NHL because those guys wear the thong-style cups (see reebok 8k)

I use a shock doctor jock short with velcro, and attached a garter conversion kit. It's a short piece of garter with the clip on one end and velco on the other. Converts velcro to Garter as the name implies. They are like 4 bucks and work great. I don't have the package, but they were either Pro guard or A&R.

IIRC, Tron Hockey sold a conversion kit which had garter attachments that would work in a velcro short. A month ago, I orders a couple of the kits and they were out of stock and no longer made. I guess there's still more teams using the old knit sock.

I have never had problem with the Velcro short holding up the pro phoenix socks I have.
