HBO 24/7 Winter Classic Soundtracks

Recommended Posts

Anyone know where I could find the soundtracks for the winter classics over the past 2-3 years? I found the first two episodes from flyers/rangers but can't seem to find anything else on Google or HBO website.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know the rest of the music but I tihnk I can contribute a little here:

Just watched Episode 3 online... LOVE HBO's music selection in it :D:D

Welcome to the Black Parade - My Chemical Romance (Canes vs Caps)

Pray Tell - Anberlin (Pens vs Caps)

That was from my post last year for the Pens Caps series.

On a side note, watching the closing minutes of this year's episode 4, the instrumental piece where they kind of wrap-up the series and show a recap montage and then show players looking at the camera in black and white smiling, deadpan, or wearing furry hats. The piece worked great and was actually quite moving coupled with the images and narration. But I had heard this music somewhere before.. where? It kinda drove me nuts for a couple days.

A week later I'm working on my computer and had the TV on with very low-volume behind me. I hear that same music again and think "oh they're showing 24/7 again". I turn around, and it's not 24/7 at all, it is the final moments of the film 127 Hours with James Franco, where he is walking to freedom after lopping off his arm. And not surprisingly, the music works great in closing out that film too.

The intro music from the first Flyers/Rangers episode (recurring throughout) was from the D-minor Adagio on the soundtrack to the Danny Boyle film Sunshine, by a group called Underworld.

Don't forget the REO Speedwagon! Oh yeah! Getting my high waisted satin pants out of the mothballs and pimping my perm.

I heard Blood Pressure by MuteMath in there, too. Can't remember which episode, but it was definitely in the Rangers/Flyers series.

It's funny, a lot of the songs played on the show were on my summer road trip playlist :).

I'm pretty sure Sigor Ros song Festival has a brief clip in there. Towards the end of episode 4.

This is Sigor Ros' song Festival, it runs about 9 minutes.

Lol so many of you have just posted what I already have. Thanks anyway.

I'm really only interested in episodes 3/4 of flyers/rangers and any songs from Pens/caps
