Briere sticks

I was at Sabres Vs. Leafs game tonight. went to the sabres store and saw a new stick. It's called "easton fibre lite" it was all black with white graphics. at first i thought it was a 1-piece but t turned out to be a wood stick. I have a pic of the shaft, and a blade pic. I sont know how to post so if someone wants me to email them the pics and post them for me, let me know. thanks.

That's a pretty good paint job for a wood stick. It does make it look like a OPS.

Yea I've seen those where they looked wooden like that z-carbon but never all painted up like that. It looks pretty good like that.

I agree its a great looking wood stick. I would not mind getting a hold of one of those myself. I wonder if they use the same wood as what you see in the 'custom pro' blades. If so thats one killer wood stick.

Those are the only ones I've ever seen before too. I hope they're all like that now those look much better.

great job on the pictures, I was thinking of taking some pictures of the Leaf sticks at the ACC but I really don't think the staff are going to appreciate me doing that.

How much do the sticks cost over at the Sabres store ? I would of loved to buy one of Miroslav Satan's sticks if it is reasonably priced.

all composites(new and used, shafts, ops) are 85 bucks

they always have a ton of new wood blades but I've never checked the prices on those

hmm. that's an excellent deal if you got a brand new pro stock OPS for $85.

Since you went from Canada to Buffalo I wonder if you could recover the taxes levied on a hockey stick purchase from the store ?

By the way I don't suppose you saw Miroslav Satan's M-2 stick ? I wonder what kind of flex he uses ?

He uses a 95 flex. I had a brand new Miro M-1 and sold it on Ebay for $160 nice curve. And no M-2's yet will pick one up as soon as I see one. there were 4 Grier XN10's but none in very good condition. Hope there will be some good ones tomarrow.

What kind of curve was the M-1 ? Is it straight and then a sharp hook bend at the end of the toe (well that's what it looks like from the NHL pictures I have seen).

Not really, It kinda represented the Rafalski curve. I doubt there are any more of his M-1's left but I might be able to get one of his M-2's if your interested.

hmmm. I guess Satan has a few different patterns to play around with just like Mogilny. Different game situations might require different blade patterns for him?

$85 for a brand new pro stock OPS Satan stick is a great price, but $85 for a used Satan M-2 shaft doesn't really appeal to me (I have to take into consideration the cost of shipping the stick, plus I don't put a lot of value into his wood Bauer blade). Thanks for offering though.
