This looks interesting....

That looks like a rip off site. There was another based in Calgary or something that looked much more believable. They had the broken vector picture also.

Look at the goalie stick, it broke at the K and in the finished picture it shows the handle connecting to the H, thats missing have of the paddle!

Interesting observation.

Wasnt the NHL talking about reducing the size of goalie gear anyhow? ;)

my buddy had one done here in calgary. 2 actually. the blade broke on one, and it went from a sakic to like a drury. and then the other was a shaft. it looked like a stretched out oval stick. not sure if that makes sense. but it looked like this

United Cycle has signs up for them in the stick section. A guy was there and I was looking at it and he said that it is very bad and his broke within a week. They refund the $75 if it breaks within 30 days but you still lose you stick completly.

Nope, he's wrong.

The stick is flipped over.

How can you tell? Look at the handle. The "580" graphic is facing the other way.

First pic - KOHO

Second - OHOK

Oh, ok.

Well, the sticks on the site look like crap if you ask me. Actually they only showed that OHOK (haha) goalie stick. They never bothered to show you the repaired Vector, if they actually had one. Anyone know of any other sites that do this? I wanna see some pics.

Mine was done in Hamilton. It looks like a similar idea. There is a bit of added weight, but my M-1 was always bottom heavy and I actually like the fact it balanced it out a little better (now great with my T-flex). He's done it for pretty well everyone on the team I coach. He mostly repairs blades (because those tend to break most) and they've held up great. A few split afterwards, but people generally got a few more months out of it. The weight difference is minimal, I got mine done for free and I'd pay to have it done if I was in a situation like I was (stick arrived broken on a trade). I don't believe any of the repaired sticks broke in the shafts that he fixed. I believe mine is also a graphite wrap.
