Defensemen and toe curves

Recommended Posts

Honestly, I've seen all these curves numerous times, especially the letang and karlsson ones, guys on my team had them this year, they're all mid curves with less mid and more toe, only really Gonchar and Russell are using real toe curves IMO.

A couple of other questions.

Why is it called the Kreps curve?

Is it similar to the Bauer P08 (Ovechkin) with the P08 having more heel and more loft?

They are called mid-toe curves.

I'm well aware, what they're called, I was just mentioning guys using true, straight toe curves.

Kreps is Kamil Kreps an easton guy who uses toe curves which I didn't was important when naming curves. It's easier to look at the curve: http://www.prostockhockeygear.com/gallery/p#rs-kreps-curve.html

Kris Russell uses a tall Hossa.
