Skater94 2 Report post Posted February 28, 2013 Ilya Bryzgalov's 'Star Wars' inspired mask. So this is the coolest mask I've ever seen, probably because I'm a geek but I can accept it. Here's a video of it toohttp://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=35&id=208742&cmpid=embed-share-video

shooter27 116 Report post Posted February 28, 2013 Saw a tweet this morning that said he is getting the light saber painted green to be "proper". Why the color of it mattered so much to people is well beyond my comprehension.

That's why it matters and fans are mad. Just take something you love and have somebody alter it to look stupid and inaccurate and you'd be pissed as well. If you told me that they gave him a third arm or something I could see where that would "look stupid" but I don't see how getting the color wrong "looks stupid." Inaccurate, yes, but it's a fictional movie. It's not like they got some major historical fact wrong. And by the sounds of it, they didn't get it "wrong" they were trying to make it orange and people had a s*** fit.

JR Boucicaut 3803 Report post Posted March 2, 2013 Right, especially with the scene with Yoda actually using his lightsaber was a huge deal in the Star Wars world.
IPv6Freely 2096 Report post Posted March 2, 2013 Yea, i'd have to disagree completely with shooter27. This would be like giving superman a green cape.

IPv6Freely 2096 Report post Posted March 3, 2013 Ah, MUCH better. I get that they were trying to avoid non-team colours, but unless they're going to go "greyscale" they need to stick to the right colours on something so iconic.
Skater94 2 Report post Posted March 7, 2013 It was actually LucasArts that asked for it to be fixed because they wanted the correct representation of their character
