If you had to choose between the following sticks, in the curve and flex you want, and you can only choose one...which would you choose?

Warrior Diablo

Easton Stealth RS

CCM U+ CL

Bauer X60

Bauer Total One

IMO Total One is the best stick in the mix there.

Stealth and x60 I have had durability issues and I have no experience with the Diablo or CCM

I would go for the Easton Rs, After having a total one, an rs, and now an rs2 I can say that the rs2 is my favorite stick I have used. For snap shots, you really cant beat the release that the rs has to offer.

I've owned all except for the Warrior at some point in time, and imo if I had to pick, based on performance and how I shoot, I would pick the RS. I like the dimension of the shaft, it's slightly narrower than most square corners sticks and I also like the balance of it. But in terms of durability, I would go with Bauer Total One. The RS blade felt really soft after a few months, it seems to lose its pop real quick. I owned a Total one before, and besides for its stiffness (I should of bought a 77 flex, instead of a 87 flex), everything else was great, the power core 3 makes receiving a pass very crisp. But I ended up giving it to one of my buddy. I currently own a T1 NXG and Nexus 1000, both are 87 flex, made the same mistake again buying an 87 flex for the NXG. Another note to mention, if you ever decide to give the Nexus 1000 a try, it shoots a lot softer than the Total One NXG. The Nexus 1000 is currently my favorite stick at the moment.

Good luck!

TotalOne for sure. I feel like the only stick that would beat it in any category (out of those you selected) would be the RS in terms of quick snappy release. The TotalOne shoots almost as well and I think it has better blade feel and is more durable.

My son is a 14 year old tier 1 player. He loves his totalone nxg, but I hate paying $200 plus for a stick that doesn't last more than 2 months (he does practice and play 7 days/week). His last totalone lasted exactly 2 weeks and broke in practice after a regular slap shot. And it isn't just him. I have seen 5 sticks broken in a single practice with 4 being totalone's. I don't know if bauer is pushing the envelop or if they just aren't made well, but his backup is an apx and it gets lots of use (he has broken 3 totalones in 4 months and he plays defense). The wings on his team generally prefer totalones and buy 5 at a time... most of the boys have gone through these and are on their second batch. As a parent, paying $700 for sticks for 1/2 a season seems excessive! Again, I don't know why one top of the line model from a common manufacturer is more durable than another, but from a cost perspective the bauer APX is my choice..

I actually liked the first generation U+CL, didn't care as much for the second version. That said, I would probably have to pick the Total One out of the sticks on that list.

I have heard the rs has great feel, but my pro stock total one was the absolute best stick I have and will ever own. On the cheaper side tho, warriors are going crazy on clearance at hockeymonkey and totalhockey... Plus with retail versions, the warriors are the only sticks that come in a somewhat delicious toe curve aside from the new v9e.

Still more questions need answering before you can chose........how important is feel? Or is shooting with a quick release more important? Take alot of slapshots?

What company offers your curve? Are you hard on your sticks? Is money an issue? Lots of things will help narrow it down for you.

All these opinions of the sticks are from people who have different needs and wants than you more likely.

If its about feel than I would suggest Bauer or newer Warriors.

If you are a snap/wristshot player I would suggest anything with a Low kick point stick.

If you take alot of slapshots I would say a Mid kick stick.

All top end sticks have their merits.

I personally use an Iggy curve which is only offered by 2 companies which narrows it down. Now I fancy myself a shooter and not a dangler so although feel is nice it is not important to me. Very rarely take slapshots so I'm all about quick release and low kick. In short, I chose the Easton RS.

All Flash has a great point.

With the caliber of all of the sticks you listed, it will really come down to how you play. Curve availability varies by brand, followed by the flex profile of the sticks you listed. My emphasis on warriors currently is only because they offer a retail Gionta curve, which is the closest thing aside from the Easton E28 pattern to a pro stock Kreps curve. And I like toe dragging and snap shots. So the warrior Gionta curve is my personal choice. But if you play a different style based on either preference, ability, or position look at different options from your list, and if you play back definitely take price point vs. durability into the debate you have going on in your head as well. Some of the sticks you listed are high end, high quality sticks, but they are designed to out perform, not out last...

And just to refrain from angering anyone, every last bit of what I wrote above is 100% personal opinion... haha
