You can go to any shop that heat presses jerseys and just have them cut up a strip from any number they have in stock and press it on.

Varsity block "8" has two triangles cut out on the vertical sides. Your project will look like a "0" with a line in the middle.

ah i see what u mean, its not a big deal though for me

Buzz: FYI, use that stuff in a really well-ventilated area. It's metabolized into carbon monoxide by your body, and can get 'ya if you're not careful. You'll feel fine for a couple hours, then start to have problems as your body changes it into CO.

I doubt you'll have any problems, since you're probably using a really small amount/low concentration, but better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks! I was looking to remove heat pressed letters off my Cubs jersey which turned out terrible. I had thought they were going to use actual Cubs lettering but turned out awful.

This I need to get

Quick question. I would like to take my heat pressed logo off of my current jersey and put it on a larger jersey that fits. If I use buzz's method, will I be able to heat press it back on to another jersey?

If not does anyone have an idea on how to transfer the logo without it looking like crap.

I think your best bet would be to cut the logo and old jersey as close to the logo as possible and then have it stitched to the new jersey.

Sorry to dig up an old topic.

I started to remove heat pressed twill lettering from a Reebok Edge jersey for the purpose of getting a new player sewn onto it. I used an organic compound, sort of like an acetone. I was able to peel off the number on the back while working the edges of the number with my fingers and eventually creating enough of a separation between the fabric of the jersey and the number, it came off pretty smoothly and did not tear any fabric. However I'm having difficulty with getting the numbers on the sleeves off. I can't get any separation between the number and the fabric. Are there any tools that I can use to get in between the fabric and number without (or very minimal) tearing/cutting of the jersey fabric?

Also, despite the number on the back peeling off easily, it left behind the glue residue outline. It looks like from above the best way to remove that is goof off. Is it as simple as applying some of that to a rag and wiping it off?
