Anyone Try These Blank E-bay Shafts?

For that price, it's worth a shot. The only thing I would worry about is a loose or overly tight fit for the hosel (I had that problem with a China made CCM blade, as the blade would not sit in ANY shaft without eventually working itself loose). It could be the "Stealth" deal of the century (pardon the pun according to the ebay ad).

Yeah, you're right. It's a pretty low cost gamble.

For less than $20 bucks I don't see how you can go wrong. Even if they break easily its $12.99 a shaft...thats a steal for some outdoor roller hockey.

On the short side, most standard shafts are over 50".

Guess its more like the older easton shafts that came with wooden plugs.

I'd definitely give them a go if they were longer or at least had a better description of their flex. About 7 years ago there was a seller with similar shafts on eBay but they had a variety of flexes, even up to 120. Bought a few of them and they did great for the price. They felt a lot like the old Bauer DET shafts, which were ancient even when I bought the blank shafts.

The weave does remind me of early gen comp shafts i.e. Bauer DET, Koho Vector, Titan 10000.

I am seriously considering one. I use 45" shafts, so this could be a worthwhile investment...
