crispy92 14 Report post Posted December 21, 2013 What do you mean "best for hockey?" also what exactly were you looking at getting, supplements like proteins and all those gnc type things?
Chadd 916 Report post Posted December 21, 2013 I suggest not taking nutrition advice from random people on the internet, many of whom will give you bad advice. The only way to know what will work for you is to get together with your doctor and a certified nutritionist. Other than that, a healthy, balanced diet is generally the best thing you can do. Quintin 16 Report post Posted December 21, 2013 INB4HerbalifeLOL.Dependent on your goals and training. For example, if you're a larger guy, a nutrition plan focused on improving body composition, via drop in BF %age, will have a positive effect on performance as a whole. No supplement is going to make you a better player - it might resolve some issues with micronutrient deficiencies that is hindering your current play or support you reaching macronutrient profiles, provided you have a plan. Most supplement claims are BS (apart from creatine: which research continues to show positive outcomes on physical performance, yet people still down play it as "steroids") - and any that do provide a major boost in your performance will most likely be banned. xracer4844 5 Report post Posted January 16, 2014 I agree with what everyone else is saying. Eating well - meaning a healthy balanced diet is key. Look at getting a good multi-vitamin and good quality omega 3 fish oil. Other than those suggestions - training is different for everyone. Supplements are different for everyone - it depends on what you are looking for.
