Hockeymonkey says they are no longer getting LS2. new model coming?

Hockey Monkey is stating they are no longer getting the LS2 in stock, I asked if they were expecting a new model to take its place they said nope, its just that they wont be stocking them anymore.

any ideas?? new model soon?? ls2 finally done?

I specifially asked about the holder/runner combo, which I found interesting, cause it took like you said YEARS for Tuuk to get away from the Custom +

also seems like a few of other stores are short on supply as well.

We are not ordering LS2 steel anymore in order to control sku's. We will stock the LS3 in the non-edge model. Doesn't make sense to stock both, with all new models having edge holders and runners.

But the point I was trying to make is that it'll still be orderable from Bauer, so if a store doesn't have it in stock, they can still get it.

Maybe LS2 vs. LS3 is at issue here. I know I (and I can't be alone) tend not to think of them as two distinct products, since they are basically the same except for the height difference. Of course for ordering and stocking purposes they are, but I imagine most end users think more in terms of holder compatibility.

I'd need holders, too. I wound up dropping a holder size on the RS vs the Custom + holders I already have and rather than turn my RS outsole into swiss cheese I'd prefer to just grab the Custom + that line up.

I know this season Nash & Bauer have had a horrible stock on LS.

Going forward were in same boat as PM - dumb to stock lots of options on something that's legacy hardware now.

I experienced that with Nash. Not so much on Bauer, then again, I don't ever remember having to order steel - we had enough in our store network.

Not sure who you spoke with, but we are still carrying LS2. We no longer carry holder/runner combos, but LS2 holders and LS2 runners are available separately

Thats because they get bought in quanties over 1000 by some stores

Regardless of who buys how much, Bauer should never be out of stock for steel. Never.

Bauer is phasing out LS2.1 steel not ls2. Retailers were not ordering ls2.1 for replacement steel.
