I have had my nxg's for over a year and half and never had one issue with them and in fact they still look rather new other then a couple puck marks on the holder.Only issue I have had was the fusion steel, bent 2 pair rather easy and changed over to step velocity have not looked back. Best skate I have had to date

Mine are still strong after 2 + years. If you take care of them, they will last. I have also seen a lot in my shop for sharpening that have a lot of ice time and they are still in very good shape too. If you can find a deal on them now go for it.

Durability and quality are similar seeing that they are both top tier skates and share some of the same materials. The difference is in the fit. Retail Supreme's fit me better than retail Vapor's. I have a pair of NXG's and really like them. I feel as if they offer better range of motion than the Vapor does. If you are looking to save some money, you can't go wrong with buying NXG's when the MX3's comes out. Me, personally, I would opt for the MX3 with the injected lacing system and LS Edge holders.

The NXG has been on the market for almost 2 years now with little to no complaints regarding durability issues on this forum. It is a top end skate and unless you have the size, strength and/or skill of a fairly high level of hockey, they should easily last you several years. I have had my One95's since the day they were released for retail (6yrs I believe) and even averaging 8-10hrs pre week reffing and another 2-3hrs per week playing upper level beer league, they are still going strong. If the NXG's are the right fit for you, you should have no problems with them lasting (assuming you aren't preparing for a pro career anytime soon).

As long as you are not taking them off your feet by kicking them, or pulling on the tendon guard, they will be fine. I've seen a number with broken tendon guards come through because of this style of removing them.

I haven't had any issues with the NXG skates other than the tendon guard breaking. About 9 times out of 10 due to misuse as stated earlier
