CCM/RBK will most likely win this for 2005 with their new RBK line and all the changes they're making

Just because you put a new logo on something, you would be the company of the year? I wish it was that easy....

well put justin. i wish it actually came down to product quality!!!

My vote goes to Nike/Bauer, all the equipment I've used from them has been great (Sticks, Gloves, Skates) and I was trying on some of the Nike protective stuff at my LHS the other day and it seemed really protective and comfortable.

As for customer service, I've dealt with Mission in the past and they were excellent and the few times I sent sticks back to Easton went well too.

I vote for Bauer/Nike and 2nd (for me) was either Tackla or Easton. I like all my Bauer/Nike stuff (shoulders, shins, elbows, skates, helmet, gloves) and probably won't have to replace anything for a while (I hope). I won't change off of wearing Tackla pants unless they change the fit of them. And Easton, I just like their sticks..

Mission for bang for your buck: great prices for quality products, from their lowest end piece of equipment to their highest end, when you buy a mission product you know you're getting your moneys worth. Bauer/Nike for innovation: They make the best high end products and they have a high end piece of equipment for almost every playing style and personal preference

I will be the lone voice on here for Tour no doubt.

The new Nike HiHo skate my son used was definitely a great boot, and super comfortable, but the chassis was at best mediocre.

But of all four gloves he had a chance to use, the Tour G-7' Pros were definitely to his liking the most, although a case could as easily be made for most of the others(Eagle, Bauer, Mission). Their return to the old last on their skate boot and the introduction of the Hum'er chassis..(which no doubt some will dispute) makes their skate very comfortable and with a successfull innovation for 2004. Their new Beemer stick seems to be a winner as well providing a valid cost effective alternative to some well known and expensive other brands. Their new shinpads are very comfortable , protective and light without being bulky.

So three or four good new products in one year gives them my vote for inline. (I think the G-7's may have come out in 03, but the G-7 Pro's in 04.)

I have to agree. I also find that they have been doing a good job of coming up with new products and improving upon their offerings. BNH and Easton have also been good at offering new products but the price points and QA aren't quite as good in my experience.

First, I admit I picked BNH, on the Mission choice, I do believe that they are great values, especially the pants, now if you could only get a junior pair after September, I would be happier with them.

I'd have to go with Mission

They are always trying to incorporate something new to give players the opportunity to customize there equipment without breaking the bank... IE pitch holder and in the past Vibe holders for roller

Secondly, they continue to bring products of hight quality for even the lower end market...

Third, They rule the roller hockey scene by milles and will continue for many years to come IMO

and forth of all, There customer service is second to none, I witnessed that first hand, when I had major issues with Graf skates, Justin helped me out with a mission product at no charge (Now that blew my mind)

so my award for best product and continued innovation goes to MISSION HOCKEY!

Vote went for Bauer/Nike for their great knowledge and their huge improvement over the years. They certainly started a trend with the XX and light equipment and certainly have continued to improve their knowledge and improved their products with the XXX line. The nylon craze went on the gloves, one of the best sticks was painted over and named the XXX and the best combo in skates(the XX and 8090) and the XXX skate was born. My thought is that probably the XXX line is one of the best ever did in hockey.

I do believe that Mission is getting up there but Mission is a brave company to focus on 2 groups, the Roller Hockey and the Ice Hockey group seperatly, almost all other companies put their main focus on Ice Hockey and divert their knowlegde to the roller line. Mission have 2 seperate lines, equipment does look a bit the same but not as much as the other companies, they are willing to push the design a little further to dissociate their Ice from their Roller line. The way they manage their constumers is also revolutionary, you really seem to believe that there is one helper for one buyer. Some companies should really learn that the first thing a buyer will look for when buying back product from a company is the service they give. If the service was crappy, the buyer will go look somewhere else and Mission really seem to have their players hooked with them. Looks like when you go Mission, you never go back :D .

Personally, I voted for Bauer/nike, because I think they improved their products the most this year. However, to be fair, some of these brands we don't carry in the shop where I work, so it might be a bit different, but BNH still did a real good job this year, IMHO.

i too voted for BNH based on the variety of products they have, and the technology that goes into their products. although i didn't need any, i felt that all of the protective stuff that both bauer and nike put out were excellent and have only heard positive things about them. i bought a pair of 8090's for this year, and so far, i'm very very pleased with the purchase.

i seriously considered missionf or the vote, but on account of not having yet tried any of mission's new products, i didn't think i really would have known what i was talking about. mission definately gets honorable mention, seeing as how they really established themselves as a premier hockey equipment company and all of the new stuff looks great.
