New Gloves Ccm/Bauer or Warrior

Recommended Posts

The gloves I have now are the Bauer 4-roll elites, I like them but they aren't really that comfortable after you use them for a while, and they have a hole in them. here's what I've narrowed it down to.

Nexus 800 (or the one below that the 600?) it would probably be the closest to what I have now, would it retain its comfort for a longer period?

CCM 4-roll pro II, or III

haven't seen to many reviews on the CCM 4-roll III, and I tried on the II or III in Peranis and it was super comfortable.

Warrior Ax2, or Ax3

I've heard plenty of good things about warrior gloves.

edit-and the sher-wood t90 undercover gloves

what gloves should I go with?

thanks in advance.

Your Elites would be equivalent to the Nexus 600, while the Nexus 800 would be the Bauer 4 Roll Pro.

The most recent CCM 4 Roll I find is their most comfortable yet. Great feel on the fingers and backhand with a good palm. They are however, more snug fitting as a 4 Roll glove than the Bauers. I say check those out or the Nexus 800. No experience w/ the Dynastys

I agree with AIREAYE, the newest iteration of CCM 4 rolls are really comfortable. They'd be my choice out of those.

My vote is the Warrior Ax2, had mine in a number of games already and love'em some far, solid protection with a good feel to them. The fit a little tighter than traditional 4-rolls initially but after a few wears they fit just right.

Can you guys compare the recent CCM 4R Pro to the previous generation? The previous gen ones are pretty cheap now. Might be better to buy the old one unless $50ish worth of upgrades are in the newest version.

Much better feeling and more solid than the last version. Looks better too.

Agreed. The previous ones felt a little restrictive and clunky.

How was the sizing? the 4r II fits super small for me, shoulda got a 14" where every other glove I wear 13"

I tried on both the 13 and the 14, (I'm currently in 13 Bauers) and the 13s felt to small. So I got the 14s.

I feel like if they made 13.5 gloves they would be perfect.
