Provincial Teams Which Would Be The Best?

Recommended Posts

This is just for fun. But what if the best NHL players from each province represented their home province. This only includes provinces that have enough to have a full team. Ontario, Quebec, BC, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Give your thoughts on which provincial team would do best against each other and the strengths and weaknesses of each. Below is a list. I hate to stroke MN Old and Slow's ego, but that team looks pretty strong. If they had a better goaltending pair, I think they give the lightly populated provinces like Manitoba or Saskatchewan a run for their money. Of course we won't mention the relative population levels of those two provinces versus Minnesota.

The big surprise for me was how many quality players Saskatchewan and Manitoba produced. Having grown up in those areas, I'm shocked there are enough people to churn out that many high end players. Once you leave Winnipeg behind you have to drive a long ways before you see another community big enough for more than one gas station!

Add Mike Rielly sp? MN defense to team MN.

We will also add Brandon Bochenkski sp butchered from KHL.

We will get steamrolled with Stalock in da net.

Fixed that for you.

Top 4

MN (load up on da boys from Duluth)

Ontario

WI (the boys from Superior)

Manitoba

The real question is which state would have da best over 59 beer league team. MN for certain is dis case.

The other question is da beer. MN Grain Belt is da best closely followed by da MN Summit beer.

Do they even have da beer in Canada?

Do they have anyone over da 50 dat can still skate?

The fishing is also best in MN with Ontario a close 2nd.

I will admit the Ontario folks have the greatest ever Bobby Orr.

We have the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best.

Neil, Paul, and Aaron B.

The Wayne cat could not even tape their sticks.

No debate not even close Bobby Orr is the greatest ever to play the game.

I think he is really from Duluth MN and the Parry Sound was just a cover story to get in NHL at that time.

When all is said and done the MN folks have the best beer league players in the world.

Maybe just maybe Ontario could be best over-all but MN is best over 50 beer league.

I think Don Cherry secretly is a huge fan of the good MN hockey players.
